A very rare opportunity for the collector to add this very historical and extremely eye appealing large plaque to their collection. The National Medallion plaque is very rare, not often coming to market. This example is in very nice condition, with very few areas of bending or staining, something that is almost always found on these when they come up for sale.

Highly prized by collectors of Americana, this plaque features some of the most famous coin and medal designs of the era and earlier, including the famous C.C. Wright Declaration of Independence medal, the Washington Before Boston medal, and designs such as the Liberty Cap, the Feuchtwanger Eagle, an American Flag and Shield with All Seeing Eye designs.

This piece so infrequently comes to market that most collectors of early Americana are not even aware of its existence. It is nicely sized, at 20.5”x16.5” (measurement with frame). A wonderful addition to any office or coin study. This is only the second example we have owned. Examples have sold in the $2000 range at auctions in the past, including an example in very similar condition in a Stacks sale in 2013. A very rare opportunity.
